Why designed CVs often fail ATS parsing

Many companies screen applications with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System): software that reads your CV and matches it against the job opening.

Two-column layouts, tables, icons and text inside images often come out scrambled. Company names get mixed up with dates, or your contact details are not read at all.

Nobody can guarantee a CV passes every ATS, because each system is different. What we do: every PDF template is tested against 20 sample CVs, and the extracted text is compared with the original data before the template ships.

Recruiters often open candidate links on their phone, between dozens of other applications. Portfolio pages on namakamu.cv are static HTML: nothing loads except your CV.

Every template has a size limit, and our automated tests fail if a page goes over it. No ads, no third-party trackers.

Portfolio pages are served straight from disk, separately from the editor app. While the app is being updated, your page stays up.

Put it in your LinkedIn or Instagram bio, or in a WhatsApp message to a recruiter. When shared, your link shows a preview image with your name, title and photo if you add one.

Usernames are 3 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Visitors can reach you by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn straight from the page.

Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Every feature is free for every account: all web and PDF templates, any accent colour, up to 10 CVs per account, and the ATS PDF download with no watermark. We never lock the PDF after you finish filling in your CV.

Can I make only a PDF, without a web page?

Yes. Pick PDF only: there is no public page, you just download the file from the editor. You can change the mode later without losing data.

Will my page show up on Google?

You decide. Settings let you choose indexed or noindex. To discourage spam, new accounts are not indexed for their first 7 days.

Does it work for an English CV?

Yes. You write your CV in the language you choose, and the PDF section labels come in English or Indonesian.

Is there a photo in the PDF?

Photos are off in the PDF by default because some ATS ignore or reject them. You can still switch it on. On the web page, photos are fine.

Who can see my data?

Only what you publish is public. Before your first publish you see a summary of what will be visible (email, phone, photo). The rest is in our privacy policy (in Indonesian).
